Recent trip to Maine

Temps are falling, leaves are changing, and the crowds at our local surf breaks are dying off! Here are some shots from a quick trip up the coast...

Swell Check - Joel Feid

Quick session before setting up the campsite. Small but fun...

Props to the local Irish Pub for pouring the most perfect Guinness I have ever seen!

Niveus Quad Fish Finished!

On Saturday, local board shaper Pete Walther of Walther Designs delivered the new Niveus 6ft Quad Fish! With a quick paint job by team rider Joel Feid, some fins and a pad, it was ready to hit the water. After several hours in the water with the l...eftovers from Tropical Storm Danny, I have nothing to say other than Pete has outdone himself with this board! Big props to Pete and Joel, this board caused a BUZZ!

Jeff Annetts travels to Bulgaria

Snow quality can make or break a ski trip. Fortunately, snow wasn't a problem on this trip. After looking around the markets and seeing some of the sites in Sophia, the capital of Bulgaria, we hopped into a car and headed south to Bansko. Upon our arrival we found out that they had just received 3-4 feet of snow. Not exactly sure how the mountain was laid out or what kind of terrain it had to offer, our hopes were high to find some of the snow left untracked. Our first day skiing was did not disappoint us. There were plenty of fresh tracks to be found everywhere!

The rest of the week was the same, sun and snow abound. After a week of no new snow, our last run was a 3000 vertical foot drop off the back of the mountain without having to cross a track. We skied back to the base to catch the end of a women's world cup event and rocked out to the winner of the Bulgarian Idol, but not quite as hard as the guy playing the ski guitar. GREAT TRIP!
